We painted pumpkins! Liam painted his with finger paint, which was a good choice on my part because he got paint splattered everywhere, including the walls. I put Cade's foot prints on his. I tried to do hand prints too but that was an epic fail.
The finished products!
We got a big box with our amazon monthly order. It was a big hit in our house!
Liam was getting in Cade's personal space. lol
Liam insisted his Dadna get in there with him
We went to the Missouri Baptist Convention. I was sick with a cold the whole time so that was a bummer. They did have a kids room available so Liam got to go play with animals and color and stuff instead of having to sit through the meetings. Oh. And we almost hit a bald eagle on our way home.
This is how you know you have a heavy kid.
Playing at the convention
Cade enjoyed himself too
One afternoon we went to Lambert's for lunch. Liam got to enjoy his first throwed roll. He didn't eat much of it. He clearly doesn't appreciate good bread.
Liam's "But I wanted to ride in Grandpa's truck!" face. He got spoiled getting to ride around in grandpa's big truck while we were there.
Halloween also happened in the past month. Liam was going to be a giraffe again this year because as of a couple of weeks ago he still fit in his costume from last year. It turns out that he has had a growth spurt and at last minute his costume didn't fit. Fortunately he has an R2D2 hoodie that some friends got for him so that's what he was for halloween.
Sharing his candy with his Bubba. After he licked every single piece, of course.
I made some bandana bibs for Cade. A lot of Liam's old bibs are pretty stained and also a good portion of them don't even fit around Cade's neck (or lack there of) so I made these little cuties for my cutie. Christa had a Holiday shopping party on Facebook so I listed those for sale on there and made a little bit of money, so that was fun!
When I went shopping for the fabric for the bibs I had to ask my personal JoAnn Fabric product location specialist (also known as my sister in law) where the fabric was that I was looking for. She may or may not frequent that store. She asked me if I was getting to shop kid free so I took this picture to show her my shopping buddies. I told Liam to smile and this is what I got.
In reality this is what he was like most of the time.
We got new phones! I had been using my dad's old iphone 4 and I was having some issues with it. Caleb has still been using his flip phone but was (finally) open to the idea of using a smartphone. While my parents were here visiting we went to the at&t store and got hooked up as an early Christmas present.
Caleb's upgrade
After phone shopping we went to eat at Cheddars with my parents. Here's our first selfie on my new phone.
Grandpa trying to keep Liam entertained
Cade turned 4 months old. He weighed 19 lbs at his appointment. He is 96th percentile in weight, 95th in head, and 74 in length. He's sure a chunker!
Getting checked out by the doctor. He likes all of the nicknames she has for him. :-)
Liam wasn't so sure of the deer.
Getting the deer hung in the tree so they could skin it
Liam hanging upside down like the deer. :-D
Nehemiah turned 5 years old! He had a Star Wars party. His birthday was on opening day for hunting so he got to share his birthday excitement with dead deer excitement.
Liam got a present too from Aunt Rachel. He got a C3PO pez dispenser. :-)
Eating dinner with cousins.
Nehemiah's star wars cake. So cute!
Cade fell asleep during dinner. :-)
All 5 grandsons.
Since it was a Star Wars party, the babies wanted to be festive. :-D
Ok so the rest of this is just a bunch more pictures from the past month.
Liam was ready to go to church and got my Bible for me. He held on tight to it until we got to church. :-)
I was doing diaper laundry one day. Liam came along and wanted some fruit snacks so I handed him a stack of diaper inserts and told him he had to hang them up to earn fruit snacks. He tries. And it's adorable.
Giving ugga muggas to his brother.
Such a sweet baby
Liam loves playing in the leaves
Raking his own pile
Painting with Grandma Lori
Sometimes this is what my Bible Study time looks like, and I'm ok with that. :-)
One morning I decided to take a picture of Cade before I got him dressed. How cute is his pudge?
Liam wanted me to take a picture of him without a shirt on too. Haha!
Tickling Cade
Watching tv before bed. (Cade was in the process of getting ready for bed)
He's getting closer and closer to outgrowing his baby bathtub. Liam used this bathtub until he was about 20 months old.
Whose kid is that?
Playing with his friend, Koleman
Our beaver faces
He found a new pulpit in the back yard
He's been really into reading his Bible :-)
And reading his Bible to Cade
Christa gave me some vinyl to make shirts for my boys. I love Cade's!
Liam was showing Cade some of the toys on his play mat
Hanging out with grandma during a baptism at church
Liam has a bit of a patriotic side to him at times.
I told him to make a sad face and this is what he did. So I just followed.
My post office helper
After the post office I took him to the park to play
Cade enjoyed the park too. I think.
After the park he had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch
I like these guys
Liam is really into hippos and rhinos currently. Caleb found a documentary on Netflix about hippos and lions, so now Liam likes to give hippo kisses. (the hippos were actually fighting, but whatever.)
Going for a ride in Liam's mega blocks wagon
This was the Sunday after hunting and Nehemiah's birthday party. We had a rough day at church.
Look at that big boy sitting up playing with his brother
Liam likes his green beans.
So Cade is to the point now where he could benefit from a bumbo seat. I was able to squeeze him into it but the back isn't high enough to support him. Looks like we'll just pass that along now.
I gave Liam an apple for lunch one day and he took one bit out of every piece.
I introduced my kids to Arthur and they like it. I'm a proud mom.
He got so excited to wear daddy's tie so we took this picture to send to Caleb while he was at work.
Praying with Cade before Liam went to bed. Liam made Cade bow his head and he held his hand. :-) Liam's prayers are so sweet. They usually are just a bunch of jibberish and end with "baba!" for his amen.
Cade likes to copy the faces I make. Or something like that.
