Now where to start...Good thing I take pictures a lot on my phone because otherwise I wouldn't remember much of February. If it seems kind of random it's because I'm just posting pictures in the order they are on my phone.
This face is a common sight at our house these days. Being two = the grumps.
This boy. He's a mama's boy and you won't hear me complain about that.
We went out for dinner with Caleb's family for Caleb's birthday. We all met up at Lonestar Steakhouse in Columbia. Cade was quite fascinated with how tiny his cousin Eliot is. ;-)
Liam insisted this was his menu. It was the mixed drink menu.
We tried to get a picture with all 5 grandons. This was the best one I took. Christa took some too so she might have gotten a better one.
Caleb isn't a huge fan of cake so I usually try to make him something sweet that isn't a cake. This year he requested puppy chow. Liam absolutely loves blowing out candles so we made it work.
Liam has started talking a whole lot more but there are still some things he prefers to just make his own signs for. This is how he lets me know he wants to watch his turtle show.
I'm not sure if you can see this too well, but this is Liam on his monitor. Over on the right hand side his leg is draped over the edge of his bed rail. I'm really not too sure how that could be comfortable.
I needed to take some pictures for my website I was trying to put together so I dressed Liam up as preppy as I could and took him outside in freezing temps and chased him around the yard with my phone to take pictures of him. I paid him in something sweet. Marshmallows maybe?
Liam is quirky like his aunt Christa and likes to dip green beans in ketchup.
Cade is cool. Be like Cade.
This is currently my phone lock screen. Two of my loves.
Liam loves his "donush" in his elephant cup.
Snuggles with my boy. For several days in a row these two boys were rarely ever awake at the same time. When one would go down for a nap the other would wake up. Liam loved it because he got some one on one time without Cade demanding attention. I enjoyed it too except it meant that I didn't get to nap at all.
Me - "Liam you are stylin'".
Liam - "Eeek Yoo Mommy (Thank you Mommy)"
My parents came to visit the weekend of my birthday and they took us to Cheddars for lunch.
Poor Bubs didn't get to order any food.
Liam mostly just wanted his green beans but still gave the chicken a try. (Just posting about this is making me reallllly want some chicken tenders from Cheddars)
My mom made me a banana cake for my birthday. She put trick candles on them so they kept relighting. It kept Liam busy for a little while. ;-)
He loved the cake. I did too!
This was one of the few presents I didn't know I was getting for my birthday. A new sewing machine! I had just been thinking a few days before about getting a new one because mine kept jamming up and it was taking me so long to do things that should just take a few seconds and I have had that one for 5 years now. Lo and behold my mom got me one!
Cade all dressed up for Valentines Day
He couldn't quite make it through church. :-)
The next day Caleb texted me when he was at work and asked if I could go into his office and see if he left his pen on the coffee table. He frequently loses his favorite pen so I didn't think much about it and went to go check for him. This is what was actually on the table.
So this is the picture I sent back to him.
I took these two shopping and was asked for the first time if they were twins.
Liam loves going to story time every Wednesday!
Occasionally we can talk Daddy and Bubba into going with us. :-)
We have been working with Liam for awhile on praying and closing his eyes. This is how he prays.
Cade is a puffs monster.
He's so precious when he sleeps :-)
Asleep on the way to grandma and grandpa's house. Driving with two sleeping kids is my favorite kind of drive!Playing with toys at grandma and grandpa's house
Rasslin'. Liam kept telling me that he was stuck.
We were enjoying the warmer weather. These two love going for wagon rides.
That hat and that bib. He was so chill just hanging out in the swing while I chased around his big brother.
Once we got back home they didn't want to go back inside so we just had lunch outside.
I brought Cade inside to change his diaper and he fell asleep. Playing outside all morning is hard work!
Later that night we had a bonfire but we got chased back inside by lightning. :-(
Cade whipped me up a new essential oil box. I already have it filled!
Liam prefers his toast raw.
Church nursery shenanigans.
haha i'm not sure what this picture is or how it got on here.
Lots of love between these two.
This is how he was telling me that he was ready for church. He even put his hat on himself.
They got to go play with Kessa in her princess tent. :-)
Liam was so excited to go to the library and see Cat in the Hat!
Liam and Koleman can be partners in crime at storytime.
Liam insists on still wearing his baby fedora. I got it out for Cade to wear (his big ol' head is too big though) but Liam wont let Cade wear it. I told him he looks like a clown.
Gangin' up on Dad.
This kid keeps me laughing all day.
This is what potty training looks like these days.
Liam likes to be helpful, so any time that he finds anything baby related he thinks that Cade needs it immediately. When he found this burp cloth he knew Cade needed it right now.
We stopped by Orscheln to visit the baby bunnies.
I love when these two play together.
Liam wanted to hang out with Caleb while he worked on his school work. He also can't sit still.
Checking out the big rocks at the park.
He also made a friend that he played with.
Trying to skype grandma. That skype sound makes him so excited.
The chub. I can't even snap the bottom snaps on his diaper.
Overall, February was a happy month. :-)
