Week of March 9

Sunday - Sunday started the revival at church.  We had a great day!  We had the evangelist and his wife, Ron and Janis, staying with us.  Caleb and I had some things we needed to do that afternoonand it was super great to have Janis be able to watch Liam for us!  She absolutely loved doing it too.

Monday - Caleb's family came to spend the afternoon with us.  They all know Ron and Janis so they wanted to see them while they were here.  After church we had a Smith family gathering at our house.  :-)

Tuesday - Caleb had a meeting to go to that morning and I had some Target steals to go get, so we left Liam with Janis again.  While I was in Columbia I also met up with Karisha and Kalyn from church.  We got to hang out at Panera for awhile.  I love getting to spend some girl time with such great Godly women.

Wednesday -Ron and Janis insisted on taking us out for a meal since we let them stay at our house.  I decided to go to Cheddars.  I have a weak spot for their chicken tenders.  It's one of my favorite places to go out to eat, but we really don't get to go out to eat much.

Thursday - Ron and Janis left early on Thursday morning.  It felt amazing outside so I took Liam for a walk.  It was a bit windy so I bundled him up a little bit and put him in his car seat in the stroller so I could keep the wind off of him.  Several dogs had barked at me as I walked, but there was a dog that I saw that didn't look like it was tied up...sure enough it wasn't.  It came running after me, then came another, and then another.  I just turned that stroller right around and walked the other way.  You know how they say that dogs can sense your fear?  THAT MAKES ME ALL THE MORE AFRAID OF THEM.  One of the dogs was a pit bull too.  And everyone knows that pitbulls eat people's faces. Anyway, fortunately their owner came out and called them back over after I had tried to calmly power walk my way half way down the block. I'm just kidding about the pitbulls eating people's faces.  Sort of.

One of the greatest things about having company for so long was that I didn't have to cook for the rest of the week!  Hello leftovers!

Friday - Liam took awesome naps.  I had to meet some people up at church to do some weekly cleaning but Liam was sleeping so soundly that it pained me to wake him up.  Caleb offered to stay home with him, which I'm sure he enjoyed more anyway than cleaning.  :-)

Saturday -  Caleb was working on a bench made out of pallets so Liam and I went outside to enjoy some fresh air while he worked.

Rocking his baby pumas from Aunt Amy
Yep.  We had to go inside for a nap.

Saturday night Liam needed a bath.  Now, I'm not the coolest mom in the world so Liam had never had toys in the bathtub before.  Usually when I give him a bath I just want to get him in and out so he can go to bed.  I had some extra time so I let him play for awhile.  He had a grand ol' time!

At first he hoarded the toys like he was afraid I was going to take them away from him.

Then he lightened up a little and had some fun.

I took some video but I had to edit most of it out.  I tried to keep footage of his frank and beans to a minimum.  It's kind of small because I took it on my phone since that was the only recording device close at hand.

My MIL found a great way to keep Liam entertained when he gets bored!  The best part is that he can't go anywhere!  He's been rolling around everywhere but still not crawling yet.  I not complaining though!

When my dad was six months old, my grandma took a picture of him in a pair of overalls.  When I was six months old my mom also took a picture of me in the same pair of overalls.  So while Liam is still six months old I took a picture of him in the same pair of overalls.  The editing is a little bit different on Liam's picture, but you get the gist.

Liam has been doing great with eating solid food.  We found out that he absolutely loves to suck on pickles.  The only thing he hasn't liked was peas (if you aren't counting the bacon bit I sneaked him that he hated).  I can't say I blame him too much about the peas.  Here's a peek at what our first adventure with peas looked like.

Peek a boo with Liam!
With Liam's schedule being off for a few days this week, bedtime was beginning to be a nightmare.  I started putting a drop of Lavender oil on Liam's feet and it's been knocking him out super fast!

One last thing.  My hair has been falling out like crazy since Liam turned 3 months old thanks to hormones.  Even though the constant hair every where is a pain, I've never had such thin hair in my life!  I can straighten my hair in no time now even though it's getting longer.  :-) It's awesome!....as long as it tapers off sometime soon.

Thats all for now.
