Organizing

I found a project on pinterest where a lady organized her living room using diaper boxes that she painted and decorated up.  I really liked the idea and we had some boxes of similar size that we used when we moved.  Caleb got the boxes from a display he set at Walmart, then we used them to move and then my sister used them to move, so they arent in the greatest shape, but still able to do the job.  Since I've started couponing and stuff, I have a lot of "extras" because you have to buy what you can when it's cheap!  Since Caleb was gone last weekend on a camping trip, I occupied myself with painting these boxes.

Here's the before picture:

And the after picture:

After I  got the boxes organized, I kind of thought that I liked the organized mess before the boxes just because it's easier to look in the closet and see everything that I have.  Although looking at these pictures, I think it looks a whole lot better with the boxes.

This weekend Caleb's parents are coming to visit!  Since I got a coupon in the mail the other day from target for $1 off of a 3 lb bag of apples, I made an apple crisp.  It looks delicious and I cant wait to eat it!  Do you think his parents would understand if a piece was missing??  ;-)

I also had a coupon for $1/1 Sally Hansen nail polish.  Caleb isn't a huge fan of nail polish though.  It's not that he wont let me wear it, he just prefers that I dont.  He says that there is just something unnatural about it. Since the nail polish was only originally $2, with this coupon I could get it for only one dollar.  So I did.  And I found a color that I just knew he couldnt say didnt look good.  The color is "gunmetal".  You can't go wrong with a color like that for a guy like him, right?  Well, I was wrong.  He doesn't like it.  So I told him he can just not look at my hands for awhile.  :-)

No more news on the job situation.  I started training for my new position last week and so far it's a good change for me.  The lady who is training me is very task oriented and always makes sure to give me plenty to work on.  Theres nothing worse than being bored at work.  Also, tomorrow should be my last 3:45 morning!  Starting next week I am back to my 6 am shifts and I will only be unloading and stocking shoes, then working salesfloor following that.  Even though it's still early, I think the whole 3:45 deal was the Lord's way of making me content with 6 am shifts.  :-)
