Week of September 29

Remember how Liam used to be like this?
Well guess what?  HE HAD A GOOD WEEK.  Yay!

We used to only swaddle him at night and I mostly did that so he could have a blanket but not have to worry about him getting it over his face.  We discovered that he naps much better if he is swaddled and swinging.  He is napping much better throughout the day and therefore a much happier baby when he is awake.  He has even been smiley this week!  That's something I wont ever get tired of.

Liam has taken a huge growth spurt.  I weighed him on Tuesday and he was up to 11.9 lbs!  Clothes that were took big on him last week fit well this week and some are even getting snug.  All of him 0-3 month sleepers are starting to pull a little bit around the snaps.  I guess he's going to take after his 6'6" grandpa.

On an unrelated note, we have kittens!  Too bad they are scared of us on top of me being allergic to them.  They certainly don't get any lovin or mercy from Caleb.  This kitty was snuggling this piece of wood Caleb has been working on.

Not too much else has really happened this week.  Since Liam has been napping better I was able to get some stuff done that I've been meaning to for awhile, like getting most of my maternity clothes packed up and getting caught up on laundry.  (By the way, since I've started wearing regular pants again, do you know how hard it is to get back into the habit of unbuttoning your pants? )

If you came here looking for baby pictures, well, here you go!

Sitting up like a big boy next to dad.
 Oh, whatcha working on dad?

This is how I found him when I went to bed the other night.  :-)
 So happy!
I so wish this picture wasn't blurry, but he's such a wiggling willy!

He hasn't been a huge fan of his bouncy seat the past couple of weeks so I tried it again the other day.  This is the look I got.
 I just love this face.
Practicing for graduation.  (Don't rush it, baby!)

He spit up when he was laying on his play mat and we didn't notice it...until Caleb picked him up and found this web of spit up.

Caleb tried to keep him awake so he would sleep during my trip to target.  Liam just fell asleep sitting up.
Not thrilled to hold the bread at Target
 Getting buried in the cart
All bundled up for his first hayride
